Iorgu, Alexandra

Alexandra is a mother and artist living in Toronto. She was born and educated as a fine artist in Romania where she received an extensive education including drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, technical drawing and art history. Her education continued in Canada with a Bachelor of Design- Illustration, from the Ontario College of Art and Design and a Bachelor of Education from York University.  At the moment Alexandra is raising her daughter, painting in her studio and teaching art to children. She brings a sense of clarity and truth to her works, which are both expressive and colourful.
