Stewart, Christine

Christine Stewart grew up busy colouring, writing and illustrating stories, building collections of craft supplies and eventually painting. With Fine Arts and teaching degrees, over the years she has grown to become a versatile artist  creating vibrant, textured paintings, working in acrylic and incorporating collage elements such as paper, photo transfer, textiles and other non-traditional materials. As a parent of two young children and as an accomplished educator and instructor she is committed to surrounding kids with fun and sensory art experiences that encourage exploration and discovery. Christine approaches art-making intuitively, welcoming play and process over rigidly sticking to any one style with her work.
